Welcome to my alma mater - Arrowhead School. Yes, I went to this amazing little school many years ago. It was a bit smaller in those days but still so much like it is now with dedicated teachers, a feeling of being a family and a drive for students to succeed.
This is my 4th full year on staff at Arrowhead. I started out helping in the kindergarten and teaching art. I now teach art, music and library plus this year I am helping Mrs. Vought with the middle school students. I am passionate about art as a tool for self expression and discovery. I am also devoted to musical theater. Myself and my family are deeply involved at The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts in Livingston.

A fifth generation Montanan, I grew up in the Livingston area. After graduating from Park High School, I attended the University of Nevada, Reno where I studied Journalism. I recently received my teaching degree, online, from Western Governors University. I spent many years homeschooling my two sons, Andrew and Cameron. I owned and operated Somewhere Studio for three years where I instructed children in art. I then moved on to be the Children’s Art Director at The Livingston Center for Art and Culture. I still enjoy working with this institution. Most importantly, four years ago, I joined the staff at Arrowhead School where I have enjoyed working and expanding my knowledge of what it means to be a good teacher.
My husband and I own a small hobby farm north of Livingston. He is the owner of Western Glass in Bozeman. I enjoy long walks, historical fiction, children’s literature, painting , dogs, kids, and playing the piano.

I enjoy getting to know my students and their families. Feel free to contact me with any needs or questions: jreichert@arrowheadk8.org.
