Hello students and families! Welcome to 1st grade! My name is Maria Rose. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your student, but first here is a little more about me! I grew up in Montana and have lived in the Paradise Valley for almost 30 years. I am married to Mark and together we have two great boys, Cayden (22) and Taylor (18) who are both attending school at Montana State University.
I am an alumna of the University of Montana (Go Griz!!) where I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. This is my 4th year teaching primary grades at Arrowhead School. Some of my prior experience includes teaching Kindergarten, Special Education pre-school, First and Second grades, and working as a Paraprofessional for students in grades K-12. Besides teaching I enjoy long walks, while listening to instrumental piano music, traveling warm places, old classic cars, red barns and wooden bridges!
